On Saturday, I had watched a classic fantasy. It was the Wizard of Oz.
The characters of Wizard of Oz are Toto, Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin man, Lion, the Wizard of Oz, the good witch Glenda and the two wicked witches.
The settings are Kansas, Munchkin Land, Emerald city, and Oz.
Lastly, my opinion about the movie is that the movie was horrible. It was because it was a very old movie and the computer graphics were hard to see through. The computer graphics were having no straight lines and the monitor was buzzing. Almost everybody knew the story, and there were parts that was missing in the movie. Glenda had a seriously ridiculous outfit. She wore a glitter on her head and she had a puff-up dress. Those outfits looked weird to me. The actors were the same and acted almost the same depending their characteristics. The cowardly Lion acted as if he was really scared and performed badly. The other characters which are the two bad witches, Dorothy, Scarecrow, and the Tin man did their performances very well, but they had overacted. For example, one of the wicked witch had laughed hysterically and acted if she had drunk alcohol and always cackling. Dorothy had cried well when she came to her part, but when she held hands with the Tin man and the Scarecrow, she became a singer and sang melodies an did not think of the further future. Same as the Scarecrow and the Tin man. They did not have any negative minds, not worrying about their long and dangerous future, and they had been seriously troubled and injured.
One man had tried to cry, but he could not cry. What he did was pour water all over his face and act like crying. The horrible actor may think that everybody would think he had really cried, but there was water on his forehead and all over his cheeks.
On the other hand, there are still excellent and positive sides. For the first reason, the settings looked real and was shiny. The yellow brick road was neat and vivid, also there was no dust. In Munchkin Land, all those mushroom houses were adorable. The pond had real water (although it was all blue an not 100% water). The plants were all made of pure glass. It shined when the light came in. In the Emerald city, the buildings were all the color of emerald and all made of plastic.
Finally, the moral of this movie is that "Home is the sweetest place ever. "
